Vegetable stew with prawns

Stews are a great way for kids to eat vegetables without hassle. We going to suggest making the stew even tastier by adding prawns. The result is a healthy and flavourful main course that will delight the entire family.

Ingredients of the recipe

  • 1 box of Vannamei prawn 800 g Grand Krust
  • 3 carrots
  • 150 g of cauliflower
  • 150 g of string beans
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50 g of grated tomato
  • parsley
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of flour

Step by Step of Recipe

Boil a pot of salted water.

Peel the prawns and remove the intestines.

Sauté the heads of the prawns in oil for 2 minutes. Add the grated tomato and let everything cook for 10 minutes. Stir the mixture so that nothing sticks. Once the time has passed, add the flour and fry everything for 5 more minutes.

Cover the contents with water, season to taste and let it cook for 20 minutes.

Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks. Remove the tip of the string beans and cut them into 3cm pieces. Cut the red pepper into 2 cm squares. Wash the cauliflower and chop it into pieces.

Scald the vegetables in the boiling salted water for 1 minute. Cool them in ice water, drain them and set aside.

Strain the sauce in a sieve and save.

Put some oil in a wok and stir fry the sliced garlic and the prawns for 1 minute. Season to taste.

Add the vegetables and stir fry for 2 more minutes.

Add as much sauce as you like and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
