Deep-fried breaded mussels

You have probably never heard of this original way of preparing mussels. And it's even more likely that this recipe will drive you crazy. A perfect way to enjoy mussels even for those who don't like mussels.

Ingredients

FOR 2 PEOPLE

  • 8 pcs. cooked mussels Grand Krust
  • 1/2 onion
  • Olive oil
  • 100gr flour
  • 400ml cooking cream
  • Egg
  • Bread crumbs

Step by Step

Separate the mussels from the shell and chop them. Set aside.

Cut the onion into brunoise and fry in a pan with a drizzle of oil.

Add flour, cooking cream and stir. Add more or less cream as needed.

Add the mussels with a pinch of salt, set aside and cool. Fill the mussel shells with the mixture.

Dredge them in flour, egg and breadcrumbs.

In abundant oil, fry them until golden brown and, let's eat!
