Tropical fruit salad with shrimp and cocktail sauce

In only 15 minutes, you can make a delicious tropical fruit salad with shrimp and cocktail sauce. It’s a refreshing dish, ideal as a starter for a summer meal when you have guests.
The flavour of the seafood goes amazingly well with the sourness of the kiwi fruit, orange and pineapple as well as the sweetness of the strawberries, the bladder cherries and the carambola. The result is an exotic salad that is certain to please your guests.

  • 1 pack of Shrimp with cocktail sauce 160g Seafood Combo by Grand Krust
  • 2 kiwi fruit
  • 1 orange
  • 200g of pineapple
  • 12 Japanese Lanterns (bladder cherries)
  • 12 starwberries
  • 1 carambola
  • mint leaves
  • salt

Scald the shrimp
Scald the shrimp for 1 minute in boiling salted water. When they’re ready, put them aside.

Prepare the orange
Peel the orange and remove the white pieces; cut it into slices and save for later.

Prepare the kiwi fruit
Peel the kiwi fruit, cut them into circular shapes and put aside.

Prepare the pineapple
Cut the pineapple into cubes and save.

Prepare the Japanese Lanterns
Cut the Japanese Lanterns in half and save four of them for decoration.

Remove the leaves from the strawberries and cut them into four longitudinal slices.
