Risotto with garlic shrimps

The risotto with garlic shrimps is a tasty dish with a spicy touch, ideal to be served as a starter during cold days. This is an easy recipe to prepare, which we can use when we feel like eating something tasty and we do not have much time to spend in the kitchen.

Ingredients

FOR 4 PEOPLE

  • 1 pack of shrimps with garlic sauce 160g Seafood Combo by Grand Krust
  • 270 g basmati rice
  • 1 leek
  • 1l of fish broth
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Step by Step

Prepare the leek
Chop the leek and put it to fry over low heat in a saucepan with the Grand Krust garlic sauce.

Add the rice and the shrimps
When the leek is tender, without allowing it to brown, add the shrimps and the rice.

Cook the rice
When the rice is slightly transparent, incorporate the hot fish broth and cook over high heat for 8 minutes.
After this time, lower the heat and add salt. Continue to cook for 7 minutes more.

Resting
After these minutes, remove the rice and let it rest for 5 minutes covered with a cloth before serving.

Tips Practical Advice

If the rice is sautéed before adding the broth, it will stop the rice from sticking together and it will be more pleasant during the mealtime.
