Sautéed squid with grill sauce, cured ham and dried fruit is a tasty recipe that’s easy to make. In only 20 minutes you can have a main course with the nutritional properties of seafood and the energy and healthy fat of dried fruit. The cured ham gives the dish an extra touch of salty flavour.

Ingredients

FOR 4 PEOPLE

  • 2 packs of Squid with grill sauce 220g Seafood Combo by Grand Krust
  • 200 g of cured Iberian ham
  • 75 g of mixed dried fruit
  • fresh chives

Step by Step

Heat the sauce
Heat the grill sauce in a pan over low heat.

Chop the ham and dried fruit
Chop 50 grams of cured ham and the dried fruit.

Sauté the ham and dried fruit
Add them to the grill sauce and let everything cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir from time to time to allow the flavours to blend and to make sure the dried fruit doesn’t burn.

Sauté the squid
Add the squid and sauté everything over medium heat for five more minutes.

Slice the ham into strips
Slice the remaining ham into julienne strips.
Plate the squid and decorate with the sliced ham and fresh chives.

Tips Practical Advice

It’s not necessary to add salt to this dish as the ham and dried fruit will provide all of the seasoning needed.
