Squid risotto

The squid risotto is a very tasty, healthy and easy to prepare recipe. Ideal as a starter or, if we prefer a light meal, we can serve it as a single meal with a good salad. Furthermore, it is an ideal plate for the children so they can start to enjoy the best flavors of the sea.

Ingredients

FOR 4 PEOPLE

  • 1 pack of squid with grill sauce 220g Seafood Combo by Grand Krust
  • 270g of basmati rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1,5 l of fish broth
  • Salt

Step by Step

Prepare the onions and the squids
Pan-fry the onion with the Grand Krust grill sauce over low heat until soft, but not coloured.
Add the squid and continue cooking for another five minutes.

Sauté the rice
Incorporate the rice and pan-fry everything until the rice begins to be translucent.

Cook the rice
Add the hot fish broth and cook 8 minutes over high heat. Season to taste with salt and let it 7 minutes more over medium heat, stiring from time to time.

After the indicated time, let it rest for 2 minutes and serve.

Tips Practical Advice

If we remove the rice as it cooks, it will release the starch and broth will take texture.
